As we all know, since Covid arrived into our lives many new rules and protocols applied. From using a mask, hand sanitizer, and temperature body check. Covid was also cost traveling process become harder than it used to. Indonesia was not an exception because Indonesia suspended the Visa on Arrival for international attendance for two years since 2020 in a certain region in Indonesia.
However, after two years passed Indonesia finally open the Visa on Arrival effectively on 7 March 2022 to Bali, Riau, West Nusa Tenggara, Batam, or Bintan. Currently, any travelers who want to enter Indonesia from entry points aside from Bali, Riau, West Nusa Tenggara, Batam, or Bintan can apply for B211A Visa at Indonesia’s Online Immigration portal.
There were only 23 countries that allows entering Bali with Visa on Arrival, but now Indonesia’s Government has added more up to 72 countries. List down below is countries that are eligible to enter Bali with Visa on Arrival (Updated May 30, 2022).
The Indonesia Visa on Arrival requirements are:
- International travelers with passports originating from the countries mentioned above can apply for VoA for Tourism after arriving by immigration control at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.
- International travelers must present all requirements for a VOA for Tourism at the immigration counter, namely:
- A passport valid for at least 6 (six) months;
- A return ticket or a connecting ticket to continue traveling to another country; and
- Other documents are required under the provisions from the COVID-19 Task Force.
- Stay permits of VOA for Tourism are granted for a maximum period of 30 days and can be extended only 1 (one) time.
- The extension is granted for 30 days and is carried out at the nearest immigration office where the international traveler lives while in Indonesia.
- The VOA cannot be changed into another type of visa/stay permit.
