Echo Beach
If you are a surfer’s head and Canggu is your destination, Echo Beach is the perfect beach to visit. This place has several spots from intermediate to expert levels. We don’t advise a beginner surfer to surf here, because of the reef, and heavy waves around this area. If you’re not feeling like chasing the wave you can also spend a very good time here, because there are a lot of beach bars here.

Batu Bolong Beach 
Batu Bolong Beach is located in one of the prime locations in the Canggu area. It’s located side to side with hype bars, like The Lawn or Old Man’s. The best time to ride the wave in this area is in the morning. At that time you’ll meet a lot of professional surfers, outstanding local surfers and maybe some beginners who try to step up their skills. Around sunset time, this place is gonna be packed with more people, so if you’re planning to surf at that time, you need to prepare yourself, because you’ll probably catch the same wave at the same time with others.

Berawa Beach 
If you stay in Canggu, and you are an intermediate surfer, you definitely catch a wave on Berawa Beach. The wave here is fast and it has flat rock bottom areas. This spot is also famous because it’s located side to side with Finn’s Beach Club. So you can always stay and relax at the club or the beach while you feel too tired to chase the wave.
