This designated sanctuary and natural habitat of Indonesia’s Balinese long-tailed Monkey, Sacred Monkey Forest is located in the cultural heart of Bali, Ubud. Over 1000 monkey lives in this area. You will be enchanted by the beauty of this forest along with the monkeys, but BEWARE, most of the monkeys in this place are aggressive, that’s why please do make sure not to wear any jewelry or glasses with you. Watch out for your wallet, bag, and food also because they might steal them. Also, women on period are forbidden to enter.
P.S just walk around the forest calmly and peacefully, do not approach the monkeys or get too close.
