Best Cafe To Work in Canggu

Bali has been flooded with tourists, Digital Nomads, and influencers for a couple of months. Some areas might be been busy with the huge amount of traffic. Finding a quite nice place to work becomes very important and essential. Especially if a co-working space is not your working style.

We’ve curated some amazing cafes in the heart of Canggu for you. You can simply open your laptop here, and get the work done while enjoying the food, and a cup of coffee (or maybe two). Don’t forget to tip generously!

Lighthouse Studios Bali

This place might be a hybrid of co-working spaces, studios, café, and bars. They claim it as the hub for Bali-based creators, and changemakers to eat drink, create and play. You can rent their studios for any type of videography or photography work, including recording your weekly podcasts. Their place is also available for you to host any special events.

But, if you need a place where you can focus on your laptop only, they also have a café space (indoor and outdoor), where you can enjoy coffee and meals until all the work is done. Their foods are quite diverse, from brunch selections, snacks, house specials, salad bowls, vibrant power smoothies, cocktails, and many more. The price for the food starts from IDR 50 K (USD 3) or above. But on top of all, you surely can find like-minded creative people here.

Gron Espresso Bar and Kitchen

Located pretty close to the infamous Shortcut Canggu, Gron Espresso Bar and Kitchen might be a good option for your busy remote workdays. Surrounded by greenish tropical vibes, the place will definitely increase your productivity for the day. They also provide a lot of electrical outlets, where you can charge your laptop while sipping freshly brewed cappuccino with a piece of brownie for IDR 49 K, as they mentioned in their daily promo.

Their brunch, lunch, and dinner food lists are a fusion of Asian-Italian dishes. You can enjoy a meal here starting from IDR 45 K above (USD 3). When your work has been done, and the sun is about to set, you can enjoy their refreshing cocktails, to sum up the day. Pssstt.. They also have weekend special promos, just in case you have to work on the weekend!

Mr. Sista Bali

Clean white paint, with terracotta décor on the wall, it’s just a perfect combo for a creative booster. Located in the Berawa area, Mr. Sista might be a good place to get things done. But we recommend you visit the place in the morning. Since the place is quite packed with people who are looking for lunch.

This brand-new small gem is offering various food and great coffee when you feel a little burnt out after a meeting or two. You can enjoy a freshly made BLT for IDR 65 K (USD 4). Other options are available obviously, including veggie wrap, fish and chips, and many more. The downside might be only that they’re closed pretty soon compare to other cafes. But who needs to work after 5 PM when you’re in Bali, right?
