As we all know, Bali has its rich tradition and culture. While doing their other normal daily activities, sometimes there’s a few things we need to know before joining the ceremony or even taking a picture or doing something. GALUNGAN

Galungan is held in honor of the creator and ancestral spirits. It is the celebration of good and the overcoming of evil. Galungan is usually held around 10 days in a certain location. During this ceremony, the main street will be crowded with people.
NYEPI

Held around March – April and it is one of the most important religious ceremonies Bali has. Nyepi, referred to Day of Silence. During this ceremony, locals are not permitted to go to work, having other activities other than Nyepi, and also there won’t be any stores open or any activities happening during this time. Even visitors should do the same as locals do to honor this religious event.
KUNINGAN

Kuningan Day is the reception day for Galungan day as the victory of dharma against adharma whose worship is directed at the Devas and Pitara to go down to carry out purification and mukti, or enjoy the offerings that are offered. On the streets visitors will notice tall bamboo called “penjor” along Bali’s street.
