All overseas travelers who will enter Indonesia need to comply with the following travel rules:
1. Foreigners don’t need to show a negative RT-PCR test result from the country or region, and don’t need to show proof of ownership of health insurance.
2. Foreigners need to show proof/certificate of complete dose of COVID-19 vaccination (second dose or third dose/ booster) which is carried out at least 14 days before departure.
🌤 Foreigner travelers who still receive incomplete doses are required to quarantine for 5 x 24 hours.
🌤 Provisions for showing COVID-19 vaccination certificates (physical or digital) are excluded for overseas travelers with the following categories:
– Be under 18 years of age;
– Has finished carrying out COVID-19 isolation or treatment and has been declared inactive in transmitting COVID-19, but has not been able to get a second dose of vaccine, with the requirement to bring a doctor’s certificate (COVID-19 recovery certificate) from a government hospital or the state/regional ministry of health origin of departure; or
– Have a special health condition or comorbid disease that causes the traveler to be unable to receive the vaccine, as evidenced by a doctor’s certificate from the government hospital of the country/region of origin of departure.
3. Upon arrival at the entrance, Foreign Travelers must undergo a COVID-19 symptom check, including a body temperature check, with the following conditions:
– If there are no symptoms of COVID-19 and body temperature is below 37.5 degrees Celsius: no need to undergo RT-PCR re-examination upon arrival.
– If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or body temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius: must undergo RT-PCR re-examination upon arrival.
